Buyer Beware
These pants run big in the waist and seat and small in the legs. They zip up from the bottom which makes the zipper hard to get started. Also they did not stay waterproof on the first use! Smartpak was great and took them back w/o hassle, but don't waste your money. I ended up buying a pair of slightly more expensive outback trading pants to match my raincoat.

Best Purchase Ever
I spent the summer here in the Low Country getting soaked on a daily basis, trying various rain coats and rain suits. I finally broke down and spent the money on these rain pants and I'm so glad I did! I wore them last night feeding in a steady, soaking rain for over 2 hours, getting in and out of a gator, climbing through fences, and stayed dry the whole time! I am very impressed with these pants and recommend them to anyone who spends time out in the rain.
Note: I ordered 2 sizes up to ensure they'd be able to fit over jeans.

Smart Purchase
These are priced right for the job and they do the job well. They break the wind but don't add alot of warmth so they are good for all seasons. I wore them at a recent rainy weekend comepetition and they kept my breeches clean and dry. Easy to take off with the side zippers.

stress-free white breeches
I bought these rain pants to keep my white dressage breeches clean at a show. I can wear them right up to entering at A: I'll just pull them off in the warm-up ring a few minutes before my number is called. Now I can put my breeches on when I get up, feed and groom my mare, and not worry about them getting dirty before my test.

Nice fit
I haven't used them in the rain yet but I tried them on over britches and they fit nice, not too baggy.

Excellent Quality
I bought these pants to keep my riding pants clean while at a show. They are not flimsy at all- nice quality material. They completely zip down both legs making them so easy to put on/off.
