Equilibrium Stretch & Flex Training Wraps 4.4 5 15 15
Just what I was looking for I was looking for some lighter support for my very sturdy and hardy pony for when we pop over low fences in the ring and gallop outside the ring and these fit the bill perfectly. They don't seem to let sand in from the arena which is great and whilst it's been cool (so hard to really know for sure), they don't seem to heat up his legs. They do seem to run big as I measured his cannon and it was nearly 9in (fit for a medium per the equilibrium website) but I went ahead and ordered the smalls and they fit perfectly (he's 14.1). great boots I have SMB's and Legacy boots to use but always go to these for my horse with tendon problems. They are what is advertised. My horses legs are cool to the touch when the boots are removed. They stay put when on. I purchased these boots to replace a pair of the same boots I purchased two years ago. As for durability, they are not the strongest boots I have purchased. The Velcro isn't very strong and the stitching needs some improvement but over all even with the cost I will continue to purchase these boots. November 15, 2012
Love'em While not the most durable boots, these are great for horses that need but don't like boots. I use them for turn-out, too, because they are the only boots my horse doesn't chew off! April 11, 2012
Not best for horses with short pasterns I purchased these for a stout pony. Although the cannon bone size is correct, the portion that goes under the fletlock was too large for my pony's short pasterns. It gets bulky and I had to fold it over to fit. I am returning for a smaller size and hoping that will work as I love everything else about them. November 7, 2011
Go with the flatwork wraps instead I had a set of the flatwork wraps and like them very much. I bought the same size in these and they do not stay on well, sand gets in them and I have to make them pretty tight to have them stay up. Maybe it is just the shape of my horses legs but I wish I hadn't bought these and just went with a second pair of the flatwork wraps which are super. These are well made but expensive for something that doesn't fit. I won't use them again. An expensive "trial". July 25, 2011
good choice supports the cooler tendon theory and has the support strap around the fetlock. good for hind end. July 7, 2011

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
