Edgewood Double Elastic Fancy Overlay Girth 5 5 2 2
My new show girth I purchased this as a show girth. Edgewood leather is beautiful and this looks great on my horse. I was told to oil the outside heavily and the inside lightly as the oils from my horse will quickly do the trick of softening the leather, however the inside lining doesn't appear to be leather as it absorbed almost none of the light coat of oil I gave it. I ordered a size up from the fleece girth I use and it fits perfect. The leather girth seems to have much less give than the fleecy synthetic I have. My horse wasn't thrilled the first time I put it on him but think that may be because it was cold and had probably been years since he'd worn anything but fleece. I'm looking forward to many long years of using this girth! December 29, 2010
Great purchase This girth is great quality - soft, easy to darken with neatsfoot oil and a wonderful match to our edgewood bridle. Of course, the double elastic also makes fitting easier, July 14, 2009
