Wonderful Boots
There aren't many tack shops in my area that carry any English items. After searching and searching for the right size combination on the internet (I have a small foot, wide calf and long leg), I decided to give the Der Dau boots a try. Wow!!! These boots are wonderful. The leather is so soft and great quality. The boots fit like a glove and needed no break in time. I can't comment on durability as I've only had them for a few weeks. Would definitely recommend them.

absolutely love
These are the first boots that I've ever purchased online (after being advised not to do so when I bought my first pair in a tack shop...) but I'm obsessed. They need to drop but they don't feel as though they need to actually be broken in. They're perfect.

Very Happy!
First pair of boots I ever bought online and they fit perfect the first time. Much better quality boot than I've ever purchased before!

Beautiful but they do not hold up for everyday use
These are lovely boots and very comfortable. However, after less than a year of use (used as main boots for the last 6 months) the soles have worn out and become detached from the bottom of the boot. The soles were glued on, not sewn. Most shoe repair places will not touch them.
I've read on some forums that others have experienced the same problem with the boot soles.

Best field boots I ever had
I purchased these boots after exclusively wearing Ariats for many years. There simply is NO comparison! The leather and workmanship is top notch and the ribbed sole stays put in the stirrup on the flat and over fences. Mine broke in after only two short rides! The elastic gusset ensures a custom-fit without the higher price tag. Great purchase, was worth the money.
