Just added Bug-off to our other SmartPak regemin about a month ago on my 30 yr old gelding. He loves the SmartPak supplements that we give him and has no side effects from it except now the flies stay away!
Very pleased with dosing packages and ease of use/application!

Pretty good stuff
Started my boys on this nearly 6 weeks ago. It is always hard to measure prevention, but have not noticed them running from the bugs, nor are they bitten up.
The true test will come this summer, but so far so good. I am not asking for my money back anyway.

Didn't work for my picky eaters
I purchased bug-off for a mare that is very sensitive to bug bites and thought this would be a good product because it said it would be eaten by the pickiest eaters. The mare is picky and when I put these pellets with her regular vitamin rations she tasted it shook her head and left her feed. The next day she walked partway to her feed tub sniffed and left and the next day she wouldn't come near her feed till I forceably showed her there was no bug off in it. I was disappointed but thought I could give the pellets to an old mare that will eat anything placed in front of her, and she also refused. The nice thing is, I called smart pak and told them and they credited the money I had spent on the purchase back to my account which is something most companies won't do. So thank you, Smart Pak I am still a very satisfied customer!

Less Bug Bites & Less Fly Spray
After the initial undecided taste test, my "supplement picky" horse ate these pellets out of my hand. They do smell like vinegar and garlic but he doesn't mind that at all. I have been feeding SmartBug-Off for over a month and I have noticed a reduced number of flies & mosquitoes hanging around my horse. This is a great relief to my super sensitive horse. I still use fly spray and a fly mask but not as much. I was concerned that feeding this might make him smell weird but he smells just like he did before. Try it, IT WORKS!! THANKS SMARTPAK!!! :-D

Not the answer for my filly
I've used this on my two Rockies for two months. The filly is the one that is seriously bothered by bugs. She MAY be stomping her feet less. But she is still covered in welts and has to be sprayed to be ridden. Sigh. I wonder if I should have doubled her dosage...
