It was very easy to get all my horses to eat it
Our horses ate it very easily. Our old gelding lwft some in the bottom of his feeder but I added another cup of supplements and he eat the rest. The next day he ate it will without any problem.

Effective Product
I live in an area with sandy/loamy soil. I have always worried about sand colic but now that my mare is getting older, I am especially careful. I find this product effective and my mare laps it up in her daily feed with other supplements.

Well worth money
Our vet recommends this and we feel it works. We live in northern Michigan where winters are long but we have dry summers, this is when we use it. Follow your vets recommendations for great horse health! We love smart pak, use for our horse and dogs!

SandClear Works!
My horse ended up with sand colic after being on stall rest with a sand paddock. Unfortunately, I had no prior history with a horse colicing, let alone sand colic and how easy it is to prevent by feeding a Psyllium product. SandClear worked wonders. I could see the sand in her manure! I'd recommend buying pellets over granules. I would not say its 100% picky eater approved; my horses weren't thrilled, but did eat it! If you keep your horse in a sandy area, please save yourself the heartache and use SandClear regularly. Give it a try! (SmartPak is great about returns if your horse doesn't turn out to be a fan of SandClear)
-My Vet left a tube of Banamine for me to give my horse, which really helped control my horse's pain level while passing the sand.

Convenient, still not picky eater approved!
As I live in a sandy area, Sand Clear is always a good idea and I have used it for several years. This is the first time I tried the pellet purge packs. The 7-day purge pack is very easy to use, super convenient. However, my old gelding who is a picky eater when it comes to supplements. He still picked the sand clear pellets out of his food and would not eat them.
