not big on taste
Really hoped this product would work but most of my horses don't like the taste! Also, the amount needed to be fed daily exceeds the amount of feed given. On the plus side, the one horse who is getting this product does seem to be moving better. If you don't have a picky pony, it's good stuff!

I have been using Reitsport-HA for about two years now, and I doubt I will ever use another supplement. I began using it after my horse had OCD surgery, and the vet suggested I keep my horse on a joint supplement as a prophylactic to any negative joint changes. He was already getting a hoof supplement, and a vitamin C supplement. So, instead of giving him three scoops of "stuff" every morning I just give him Reitsport and it covers all the bases. My horse is not a picky eater. So, I can't comment on the taste. I should also mention that his hooves and coat look great (very shiny and no cracks)! Really, I can't recommend this enough!

Not good at all
I purchased this because I felt that it would significantly improve my horse's joints, and he has been on it for two months and is still off on his left front leg. I was confident that this would work because of the price, but I saw no difference. If I could get a little compensation, that would be much approved. Thank you!

Seems like a good choice
I had my gelding on a 3/4 dose of Smartflex Repair an 1/2 dose of Smarthoof. I periodically check out other supplement options to see if there's a new way for me to save money (I was paying over $80 a month on supplements), and found ReitSport. After checking it out and realizing that it's a joint/hoof combo that has all of the ingredients of my previous supplements, I decided to switch. He gets a 1/2 dose of this, which equals or exceeds the ingredient levels of his previous supplements. I've noticed a great improvement in my gelding's stiffness/lameness issues, so in that area it's definitely a win! As far as hoof goes, it seems to be doing a good job. He's at a new barn with much harder/rockier ground, and although his feet are split up and chipped along the bottom edge, they held up a thousand times better than I imagined. He's had no trouble with major cracks, chips, or any brusing, and we've had pretty wet weather over the last couple weeks to boot! Not only am I saving money (about $15 a month!), my horse is doing better than ever!

Not very palatable!!!
I love the ingredients and the amount listed but when you open the container it doesn't have a pleasant smell and you wonder what your horses are going to do in regard to eating it....I mix it with Omega Horseshine as it has the same texture and consistency........so if you have a picky eater probably wouldn't eat it....my filly will eat it but not right away.......I think the key to having a horse eat it is mix it with something to minimize the taste....

Best All-In-One Supplement EVER
I purchased an 18 year old Hunter/Jumper Mare over 4 years ago when my daughter was only 8. She had partially fused hocks and was unable to jump. I tried various supplements and had her on monthly Adequan (HA) injections which were very pricey. I read about this product and decided to give it a try. She didn't like the taste of the regular HA 100 because of the higher mineral content so I ordered the Reitsport HA 100 Lite from the manufacturer because it has a lower mineral content and is made for picky eaters. She loves it!!! It's a little more pricey than the regular but it lasts longer so it ends up costing less in the end. Smart Pak doesn't carry this version and I don't know why. 6 months after starting this supplement I took her off the injections and about 9 months after starting it I was able to pull her shoes which has saved us tons of $!!! Her hocks were totally fused within a year and she is jumping and galloping around all the time. People that don't know her think she is about 8 when she is now 22 years old! Her coat is so shiny it just glows and I don't need all those coat shining products. She has not been lame at all (except when she hit her leg on a pole) and the vet hasn't had to come out for anything other than the routine vaccines, teeth, etc. She also has arthritis but you would never know it!! She feels so good all the time and her mood is way better too! This product may be a bit pricey but it saves so much in vet and farrier bills that it's worth it! For the picky eater....if you do decide to order from the manufacturer they will flavor it with peppermint or apple for free.
