Farnam Companies, Inc.

Our Price: $10.95 - $111.95
Form: Pellets
Maintenance Dose: 1 SmartPak Well

Equitrol II is a highly palatable feed-thru insect control supplement designed to prevent the development of stable flies and house flies in the manure of treated horses. Equitrol II includes LarvaStop which breaks the fly life cycle by preventing the formation of fly larvae's exoskeletons when they molt (resulting in their death). Equitrol II contains no organophosphates and can be used as part of an integrated pest management program. Reduced risk pesticide.

Equitrol II 4.5 5 43 48
Works great I used Equitrol II several years ago and loved it, so I was excited to see it in SmartPaks. It's pelleted and the horses don't seem to notice it's even in their feed and it works great. No flies, no stomping, no rubbing. The only time I use fly spray is for the little gnats and no-seeums that annoy horses in the early morning and late evening. I highly recommend!! May 14, 2013
Works great in right situation works well if you are the only horses around. We have lots of cattle nearby and neighbors who don't have a fly control program:( but just having mine on it does knock the population down some. May 2, 2013
I love Equitrol II ! I have used this product for 2 years now...during Spring and Summer and it works great! The horses love it! June 10, 2012
Good Quality My horses eat it up and do not seem to have any aversions to this product. I am using this in conjunction with Fly Predators and Mosquito Halt. Although I will say I havent seen a decrease in the larger biting flies, this product (along with the others) seems to have decreased the stable/house flies. I wil continue to use all three throughout our summer months. May 31, 2012
Didn't see a difference Although I had my horses on this for an entire year (even through the winter), I did not see any improvement. I'd LOVE to see it work. May 30, 2012
