Product Description
A revolutionary new concept in joint therapy supplements! An artificial molasses flavored oral supplement formulated by veterinarians and horseman for the growing horse and equine athlete to help maintain healthy joints. Sodium Hyaluronate: Sodium Hyaluronate plays an important role in a number of physiological functions, including protection and lubrication of cells, maintenance of the structural integrity of tissues, transport of molecules and cells, and fluid retention and regulation. It is present as a constituent in all body fluids and tissues. Chondroitin Sulfate: Chondroitin Sulfate is a glycosaminoglycan found naturally in the joints an connective tissue, which helps produce and protect cartilage. It interferes with enzymes, which destroy cartilage molecules, and enzymes, which prevent nutrients from reaching the cartilage. Chondroitin is part of proteoglycans, which give connective tissue it's strength and flexibility. Glucosamine Sulfate: Glucosamine Sulfate is a natural substance found abundantly in all tissues, largely in the cartilage where it plays an important role in its health and resiliency. It is one of the major building blocks of articular cartilage and of synovial fluid. Glucosamine is greater than 90% absorbed because the molecule is smaller. Also, glucosamine sulfate stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans (hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate) and prevents continued erosion of the cartilage. High Concentration: The high concentration of product in Chondrogen EQ not only allows for a once a day serving, but also gives the horse owner the piece of mind that its horse is benefiting from the highest levels of oral glucosamine available.
