Allay 4 5 7 8
great product This is a great product for a horse who has an upset gastric system. I tried another product that was suppose to be for a horse with an ulcer or upset gastric system. However, my horse did not respond like she had on the Allay. She was cranky, biting at the air when girthed up. Three days back on Allay made so much difference. My trainer said to me not to ever take her off it again, and I won't. She is so much happier now. May 1, 2013
Pretty useless My horse will eat most anything & he was not fond of Allay. He did eat it if I wet his feed, but I saw absolutely no change. Its been almost a month & he is exactly the same. Will not be buying any more. April 22, 2013
Can't use this I thought this would help my boy. Sometimes he gets so worked up that he shows signs of colic. I started him on Allay and then he was seen eating manure during turnout several times the first two weeks. I stopped giving him this and he stopped the nasty habit. I waited several days and started back on it in half dose. I was finding what looked like "grit" in the bottom of his water bucket. I looked at his grain tub and no grit. I feed this in the PM when he's brought into his stall. He has feed, hay, and of course water. Before I leave for the night, I always change out the horses water, so fresh is always available. Humm. I stopped giving the Allay again and guess what? No "grit" in the water bucket! As crazy as it seems, he must be licking his feed tub and then washing his tongue in the water!! Silly boy! Great Product My horse is extremely picky when it comes to his food and supplements. I haven't had any issues getting him to eat this. It smells some what like chocolate and is supposed to taste good as well. I have seen a quieter horse who worries less. My OTTB tends to worry and sweat every little thing. He recently just had a stressful lesson this past week and he was terrific. He didn't get rattled like usual and he stayed cool and calm. I think this product really does help to take the edge off and stop the worrying in your horse. I think I will continue feeding this product. It's only been two weeks but I've seen a change in his attitude as well! October 18, 2012
great product I have had great success with this product. I had two different vets suggest my horse had ulcers and this product is working great! I suggest any Adeptus product to anyone! January 29, 2012
Fantastic results I've used this on two OTTBs. In both cases Allay took the edginess off the horses after the first feeding. They are still alert and engaged; but the Allay made them calmer and more focused. One mare in particular is like a different horse. She changed from being defensive during training, to being willing to receive guidance. I know it's the Allay that made the difference with this mare. I had had her a year before starting her on Allay. She changed after the first feeding. Allay's now a mandatory part of my feeding program for my high energy horses. There is a simple fix for the horse that won't eat the supplements dry: first moisten your grain/ration with a bit of water, then stir the Allay so it coats the feed. Both of my horses eagerly gobble it up! April 8, 2011
