Cashel Reverse Wedge 4.4 5 11 14
Great for downhill horses I bought this pad to level out the saddle on my slightly downward built mare. She's really wide too and I find that it improves the fit of my saddle. It does what I need it to do, but it is a pain to put on. Will have to invest in a nonslip pad to use with it. Overall a good buy. March 9, 2013
Good product I would of liked the pad to be a little bit bigger. I ride in a 17/12 dressage saddle and feel the pad should of been at least 3 inches longer. Other than that, it's a good buy. September 17, 2012
Sticker ate it I got this to try to help lift the pommel off my horse's back a bit more since I can't afford a new saddle. Definitely didn't do anything, I didn't even ride it just by looking it did nothing. I'll be returning this item, I also purchased the Roma pad which is MUCH better and I'll be keeping that pad over this one. The worst part is I went to take off the sticker and it literally ate some of the pad off with it!!! I hope they will take it as a return now... ugh. September 15, 2012
Not Just For Dressage We use this pad under our reining saddles to help with the "downhill" horses. It provides just enough lift to level out their backs but doesn't make so much difference that it changes how they ride. May 8, 2012
Economical solution useful to fill in the gaps when a horse has not enough musculature around his withers to keep the saddle in the correct position. Not that easy to position correctly I have to say, but that would be an issue with this type of pad...not this particular pad. Does the job well & is not expensive. January 27, 2012
Good quality It's a nice quality wedge pad. The only problem I have is that it slides back sometimes, but my horse has a pretty low back so that's probably why. December 10, 2011

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
