Great cushion
I purchased this because my gelding was experiencing some behavior issues and I realized his back was tender. I waited for his back to lose the tenderness before I rode again, and began using this pad. I have used it for a month now and the tenderness issues have not returned, even though we have had some long and strenuous rides.
I use it between my saddle and pad, but I find it is a bit tough to use the keeper straps on my pads with it. Certainly worth the hassle if it keeps his back happy.

Does what it claims to do!
Purchased this pad to protect my gelding's back/improve saddle fit while getting back into shape following a few weeks off due to injury. Very pleased with the fit (not too bulky) and it was reasonably priced too!

Fit the bill....
I needed a cushion that was the same thickness from front to back. This was exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. The large does fit under a 17.5" Albion dressage saddle nicely.

Perfect Pad
This pad is just the right thickness to protect the back w/out being bulky. Being allowed to pick the size needed assures a perfect fit. This is my second Cushel (I also have the wedge pad) and I don't plan on it being my last.

A Nice Little Pad
I love this pad. My senior dressage horse was taking forever to warm up lately, and I noticed that he would often times get very sore. I started using the Cashel pad, and after a week, I started seeing positive results. It can be kind of tricky to put on properly, but it is light, easy to clean (just hose it off), and it does help.
