Brass Horseshoe Hook 3.8 5 4 4
Dresses Up the Tack Room! I bought these hooks to use in my individual cubby in the tack room at my barn. These hooks are attractive and seem durable. They are fairly small (as advertised!), so they are good for coats and to hang a girth or a helmet. But if you want to be able to hang up a lot of tack, you'll probably want something bigger. I bought brass bridle brackets at the same time and I'm very happy having both options. June 4, 2012
Great quality This product is built well and at a good price I must get more . March 27, 2012
Small hook cannot hold weight i bought these and put them up on my tack room wall and the next day the one holding one of my ropes had broke by the center. I guess the rope was too heavy for it. These would be nice for someone that has small ropes to hang or light jackets. Doesn't fit regular size nylon halters. They are also narrow , where the picture suggests otherwise. Would not buy again April 5, 2011
Horseshoe hooks I bought the wood and brass version of the hooks to hang my bridles inside for the winter. They are beautiful and would have gotten the full 5 stars if the hooks were just a little wider. As it is my bridle with the padded crown doesn't fit flat on the hook, that was a little disappointing. My other bridle which isn't padded fits okay, but that is a little tight as well. Just something to be aware of. January 5, 2011

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
