These work
Years ago, we purchased a medium one of these Brake Fast bowls for a small Great Dane that bolted her food so she could steal from our other 2 Great Danes. The bowl really slowed her down, so the boys could finish their food without her bothering them. We recently acquired another rescued Dane, to replace one that we lost. He too, ate his food so quickly that he didnt even chew it, so he could steal food from another. Then he would throw up all over the place. We had to get a large one for him. The bowl has slowed him down, makes him chew, and stops his finishing food at the finish line. The vomiting has also stopped. One of our males, who was a slow eater, did bloat, and is now fed with the brake fast bowl on an elevated feeder as part of his vet recommended regime to prevent bloat-even though we had him gastopexied. If your dog eats too fast, doesnt chew, or has bloated, I would definitely give this bowl a try.

made a vast improvement!
I have a 4 month old puppy who for some reason loves food! She would eat her food in a matter of seconds! She is not a breed that is prone to bloat, but the fastness of her eating still gave me concern. I got this bowl after looking in all the local pet stores, where all they had were ones with just something in the middle, with a 4 month old puppy it would not of slowed her down at all! The first time she used this bowl, it took were 5 minutes to eat all her food! My other dog actually finished before her! she has sped up a bit since the first time, but it still makes her take her time while eating! i love this bowl!

Too light
I used this product one time and it resulted in the bowl being pushed all around the floor. It also was almost tipped over. The bowl is not weighted enough for my dog. It created more mess than good so I won't use it again.

Improvement
My dog will always be a gulper....but at least
this bowl slows him down. Much less upchucking.

This bowl was recommended by a friend and it has helped slow my dog down a lot...less bloating when she eats. She doesn't like it but I love it for her.

Best fast feeding dish!
My doberman gulps his food. THis has slowed him down drasticly! I love it! No more worries of Bloat now. He has to take him time and eats in 5 minutes now rather than 30 seconds!
