Ariat Quantum Devon Pro Zip Paddock 4.8 5 15 17
nice boots I loved the look and style of these boots, but unfortunately, the 5.5 which normally fits me was too small in this style, I presume because of the more pointed toe. I have had Ariats for years, the Terrain, the Barnyard Gore, and other casual type of riding boots made by Ariat. However, when I switched to this style I found I needed a larger size. Unfortunately, there was not a size 6 in stock so I had to order a different type of Ariat boot, the Heritage III which is not the same quality as the Quantum. I was willing to pay more for the better quality, but decided to give the cheaper Ariat a try. May 18, 2013
Comfy and support I have high arches and the Quantum provides support. It is very comfortable in stirrups or walking on ground. March 7, 2013
Excellent foot support I had a similar pair, and I have been searching for a paddock boot with good arch support. I have high arches and many boots do not provide support and comfort. I did not rate the durability because I have only wore them for one ride. Yes, in the boots today for 8 hours and have happy feet. Value would be 5 since I purchased them on sale. February 14, 2013
Stiff at first, but love, love If you buy zip up boots prepare to spend a good month breaking them in. After that you'll find you don't want to take them off. The zipper stays up, the comfort is unbelievable and the quality is great! I definitely recommend these! February 6, 2013
Run Small I have a pair of size 7 boots the Quantums evolved from and love them. I have worn them for years and they are still holding up. When I saw these boots on sale, I jumped at the chance to get another pair at the best price I have seen. Regular price has gotten too high for me. I ordered the 7 but it is just a bit too tight through toe box even though the sole is the same length, they are a tad narrower and maybe the foot bed takes up too much of the room. Other Ariat boots I have tried on in 7 do fit. Unfortunately they had no 7 1/2 in stock or I would have done an exchange. I cannot vouch for the durability but can only hope they are made as well as my old Devon Pro boots. January 23, 2013
Stand by Boots I have been buying these boots for years...Wearing them for most of my rides....I get about 2 years per pair....I will continue to buy....my only complaint on the recent pair i bought was the quality of the brown leather....i did not like the finish....prefer the old oil finish of my last pair....maybe ariat is saving money with this leather finish?...Hope they go back to the old leather.... To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
