Excellent Breech
I just got these breeches in white, size 24. They fit great! They are my show breeches so I haven't gotten a chance to ride in them yet but I can already tell I am going to love them in the saddle. They are thick enough and of high quality to know that they are going to be very durable.. The only thing I am not quite a fan of though is I do like to wear the FITS Wunderbreech under show pants and because of this you can faintly tell where the pockets in the breech end, but with bare legs under it is just fine and even in my situation my show coat covers it just fine and you'd never know. They are a great rise too. I am not a fan of low rise at all, When I first put them on I was regretting not trying to find a high rise breech but as soon as I put my belt on it completely eliminated the problem! (I should't be riding without a belt anyways!) This is a no brainer pair of breeches for the serious equestrian, I was a little anxious about how expensive they were but they are totally worth it!!

The other poor fit reviews are right
I ignored the other reviews, and wish I had not. These breeches run very small. I ordered a size up and they were still snug (my pair is going back and not to be replaced, but in hindsight I would recommend +2 sizes up). They also run short, with the slightly low rise, and the too small calf, it's hard to say exactly what the problem is; these breeches are just weirdly proportioned. I am 5'7" and 125lbs, and tried a size 30. I am keeping the Ariat Heritage Front Zip Euro that I ordered at the same time in the same size - they fit better than these (although still not exceptional...c'mon Ariat! You used to be a brand I trusted).

Wanted to love these...
I love Ariat products! But unfortunately these breeches did not work out for me. Like most breeches, they run small; these really seemed to run very small, especially in the calf area. I returned the first size I bought for the next size up, and the next pair I received fit better, but they were still too small. I would have returned them for a second time, but I was in a time crunch and decided to purchase another brand elsewhere.

Beautiful But Tight in the Knee
These breeches are super flattering. They fit me great in the waist and the rise is just right on me - I'm 5'4" and like them to hit on my hip bones - and they do. They also fit great in the thigh. So far, so good, right?
Unfortunately, these breeches are strangely tight in the knee. And of all of my body parts I may not be happy with, my knees were never one of them. I really wanted to buy these, but I just felt like they wouldn't be comfortable in the knee.
(I had the same issue with the new Tredstep breeches, so maybe I do have big knees...)

Wanted to love but couldn't
I wanted to love these breeches so badly that I exchanged them twice. I am now at two sizes above my normal size and they are still bordering uncomfortably snug. The stitching on the full seat is coming out in a few places. I love the way the material looks and feels BUT if you work at a barn (not just ride but clean stalls, groom, etc...) they attract dirt and dust like crazy. After 20 minutes at the barn they are very dirty. I wish I could say I love these, but they just aren't right for me!

Not the same
I have bought many breeches from Ariat and for some reason, Ariat has decided to change the "fit". I'm 5'3" size 6 and a I could barley get a 30R (my previous Ariat size) over my thighs! and I have even lost so weight. I was extremely disappointed! Sent these breeches right back!
