Ariat All Around III Chap 3.7 5 14 15
Nice Chaps These are good quality chaps however they run much taller and smaller that expected and the snaps at the bottom are very hard to snap. Overall they seem to be durable so far and the leather is good quality. I would have liked a more accurate sizing chart but they will stretch over time. March 24, 2013
Great purchase I primarily trail ride and I love these half chaps. They are so comfortable from the first day you put them on. I highly recommend them. March 19, 2013
Runs Super Small! My calf measures 14.5" in breeches, however even the "large" which is supposed to fit a 16.5" was still very tight. After trying a Medium (which should have been more than big enough) and exchanging for a Large that's still far too small, I'm sadly switching to another brand. That being said, the chaps themselves are of very nice quality and seem to be well made, though I could do without the "moisture wicking" lining which seems to add unnecessary bulk to the chaps. I've had these for years! I've had these half-chaps for years now, and they still fit and look great...except that on longer rides (we often go cross-country 5-6 miles) they start to 'turn' on my leg and the top of the zipper gets to the back of my knee and pinch a little. So, I stop and adjust them and then they are fine. But, because of this, I prefer my Ariat leather half-chaps over these suede ones. These are easy to wash, too...just throw them in the washer and they come out looking great (and a little stiff, which I like!). October 16, 2012
Nice half chaps I like these quite well, but I haven't had them very long, yet. The zipper zips downwards which means that the snap and zipper at the bottom of the chaps sometimes get a bit muddy. I have had to take a hose to my feet a few times because we are going through a muddy spell and the chaps seems to be holding up pretty well. I do like the way that they look and fit. I love all Ariat chaps I have many styles of Ariat chaps (leather, suede, etc.) and they all fit me to a "T" - snug and yet very comfortable. They wear in perfectly but don't fall apart. I have found that other brands are not as perfectly sized as Ariats. I really like the lining (new to me since I got replacements for the suede pair I bought years and years ago - they still are totally intact, I just wanted to get a new pair :P). Buy them a tiny bit taller and "snugger" than you think you'll need, they'll drop a bit and wear perfectly. May 8, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
