really nice girth
Just got this today, so can't speak to durability, though it looks very well made, good stitching. the color is a nice dark brown, blends with my chocolate Albion saddle nicely. It is soft, and based on just one day's assessment, it does what I wanted -- lets me put the saddle back slightly where it should sit, while having a girth that sits in the more forward girth line. The elastic is really stiff, but I think over time this will be a good thing. It isn't cheap, but if it will do what it looks like it will do, and let the saddle sit where it should while the girth also goes where it should, it will be worth it! The old girth I had was a 50"; I ordered both a 50" and 52" to be sure I got the right size, and ended up needing the 52". So I would say it runs small.

Great Girth!
This girth was soft and supple right out of the box, and the elastic was broken in with just one use. It took Leather CPR very well and was darker with just one coat. Great quality, beautiful, and worth every penny! The only thing I don't like about this girth is that the buckles are pointy and kind of sharp, and they scratched up the girth tabs on my saddle quite a bit. Definitely cover them with your buckle guard. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Great girth. Mind the sizing!
Very very nice, quality girth. Beautiful to behold and handle... One very small issue on sizing- the stated size is to the longer of the two buckle, which are clearly offset. Since one must reach the billets of the saddle with the shorter buckle too, and the elastic is not particularly "elastic" when new, you might need the next larger size than you initially think.
The girth takes oil and cleans very well.
