Antares Open Front Boots 4.6 5 4 5
Beautiful Purchase They oiled up very nicely. They fit very well and they look very pretty. January 8, 2012
Best Gift Ever! I got these for Christmas and I have to say WOW. These boots are gorgeous. They smell and feel fantastic. The grain leather on the outside is durable, and oiled up nicely. The calfskin interior is butter soft and cushy. My horse wore them in the rain and mud and they were super easy to clean, no marring of the leather, and no rubs or sores on his legs. I have a TB, and I got size 2 and they fit great. January 5, 2011
Smart-Looking These boots are fancy yet conservative. I got the stud closure front and hind, and will mostly just have them used for shows, after making sure of their performance first. They are truly beautiful, and worth the money if you want a really nicely turned out horse at a show or clinic. The sizing is a bit small perhaps. I went up to the larget, the size 3, for a Dutch T/B cross. He has good thick bone, but not draft legs. These are definitely not everyday boots for a young jumper in-training. May 22, 2010
Not too impressed These boots don't fit snug against the leg and don't look like they offer much leg support. September 16, 2009

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
