Antares Dressage Girth 2.3 5 3 3
Great Girth Bought this girth because it came in a short enough length for my non-warmblood, 15.2 thoroughbred eventer. It was soft and flexible out of the box, but it doesn't feel so soft that it will wear quickly. The velcro flaps over the buckles are great - they give a neat appearance and protect my legs from rubs. The girth is nicely padded without being overly bulky. August 10, 2011
Rubbed My Horse Raw!!!!! This girth rubbed my horse completely raw. I only used it once and it was enough to rub all of the hair off and some of his skin from his elbow area. May 11, 2011
Rubbed my horse raw This girth has a spot on each end that is very stiff and sticks out a tiny bit. It is right before the flaps that cover the buckles. The quality is good, and it is possible that it just was the wrong size or something, but it rubbed my horse raw. I Have used this girth for 2 years, with some sheepskin over the ends, but it looks messy and is a pain to keep the sheepskin in the right place. I am looking for a new girth. September 1, 2010

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
