Anky Double Bridle 3.7 5 3 3
Nice Bridle Imho it doesn't compare to the Antares which I also tried. I clean my bridle after each ride, and the channel/groove for the extra strap for the curb bit is going to make this one challenging to clean! Still it's $100 less even after you add $200 for the extra reins you need to buy separately. My vote is for the Antares if you have the $. But, If you don't want the mono crown and want to buy reins separately, this is a good choice. July 18, 2011
Average A very reasonably priced bridle with acceptable quality. The biggest issue I have with it is that it is difficult to fit compared to other brands of bridles I have used. Although my mare is a 17H warmblood, she typically fits in a FS (Full Size) bridle fairly well. The Anky Full Size was MUCH too small for her in the browband and throatlatch, but perfect length on cheeks and caveson. Tried the Over Size and it is good fit on the browband , but large in the throatlatch, cheeks and caveson - so, I am either going to have to pay someone to customize the fit, or order a more expensive bridle. Bottom line, it is not as economical a solution for me as I had hoped. My trainer has ordered this bridle for several of her horses and has had the same experience with a funny fit for every horse she put one on. November 29, 2010
Beautiful workmanship! This is a high quality, beautiful piece of leatherwork at a great price. With prices soaring on other brands, I was able to get a great deal that will serve me well for years to come. February 5, 2009
