Too Loose
This neck blanket was well made and a nice design. I bought a size Med. Too bad it didn't fit my horse. It as too wide in the neck and kept sliding down. I returned it for a refund.

Great piece of horse clothing
I love the Amigo neck covers. Great value and serve a wonderful purpose! My only complaint is that the inner nylon lining tends to rip after a few months.

Great addition to Amigo Blanket!
I love the Amigo neck covers. Each one of my horses has a neck cover for their Amigo blanket/sheet. My only complaint is that the lining tends to rip. That, and my horses love playing tug-of-war with the velcro straps on the neck cover! They have ripped two off but my "leather guy" was able to easily stitch them back on. My 17.2 hand Belgian draft takes a large, the XL was too roomy.

Love this blanket!
I love Amigo blankets and am VERY happy with this one as well. They just fit perfectly. Easy on and off. Hold up well. I had a monogram put on one of the surcingles, and it looks sharp! Highly recommend!!

Destroyed in a month
I got this for my horse for Christmas to go with his new blanket - blanket was not an Amigo, but it had Dee rings to attach to and stayed on well.
Within one month, the top velcro closure has been destroyed. My horse's playmates ripped the velcro strap clear off the wrap (never to be found again in the snow covered field) and started to rip off the second strap. (They managed to undo the stitching connecting the bottom strap's loop to the wrap) I wish a sturdier thread or string had been used to sew the velcro straps on.
Additionally, on the inside of the wrap, the nylon actually seems to have started to dissolve around the crest area. Not sure how a horse could rip and dissolve the nylon inside, but when I took the wrap home in an attempt to salvage it I discovered a foot long rip along the inside with the batting showing through. It's not like my horse has a mohawk that might irritate and wear down the fabric either - it's a good 6" long. Also, the fit seemed overly baggy on his neck - I ordered a Large since my horse is a 78" but he looked somewhat dwarfed in it.
I will say that the velcro that attached to the Dee Rings is very sturdy - they stayed closed and put...and ended up pulling the Dee Rings off the blanket (also less than a month old). The 1200D exterior was also sturdy - no rips or tears from all the playing my horse does. I got this same neck rug for my pony as well (who does not play in her turnout). Everything is intact on hers, no velcro falling off or lining wearing away. Velcro did manage to pull her Dee rings off her blanket as well, but they were hand-sewn on as her blanket didn't have any.
Not recommended for horses who are very "active" in the field with others. Velcro closures won't hold up.

weak zipper
Onyx can be a little roudy in the pasture.
The plastic zipper was not strong enough for his antics.
